Look at this from their way of thinking. How much do you want? and is it a good investment? Now go back and hide all you want if you can answer that they may come to you.
I had a friend who came to me wanting money for a start up company and but he didn’t show me how secure my money would be or how much I could get back. So guess what I didn’t him a dime and no one else did either.
Impossible. If someone’s going to invest in your company, they are absolutely going to want the facts and know the ins and outs of how you plan to run the company. Yes, these people have money, but they don’t have so much money that they just want to throw it away. They want to see the business plan in order to make sure that it’s a solid idea before they give you money for it. There is, however, a way to get them to sign off that they won’t tell anyone about the plan and that they won’t replicate it. If you’re looking to cover your butt, that’s the way to go - talk to your lawyer about it.
